This bridge needs to stay open...it was closed under false pretense and lies used to convince people to sign a petition to have it closed for pedestrian safety. This street is safer than the street that traffic is redirected to...Gleason, where there aren't even any sidewalks and population density is greater.

We need to stick together on this and show up to the meeting tonite.This bridge is closed for more than safty.The city closes this bridge and that means more money in the citys pocket.We need to picket this one if they keep it closed.It took one person to get this bridge closed with false statements buy convincing people to sign his petition.Now it will take all of us to get that bridge back open.There are pleanty of other ways to slow down the speededs on this road.

You are correct and the police and ems. 2-weeks ago they closed off sw 72th terrace and no one could get to there homes for 1/2 hour.This is BS. Chiquita ..sw 10 Th, Street runs to Trafalger
AND S.W. 20Th Ave Veterans to Beach Pky,Not to mention there is Two schools and NO sidewalks,You people are nuts count your blessings ...I think it is about time we slow down some of the maniac drivers here..........
