The exploration of space rarely is. And please...everyone... don't start yacking about teflon and advances in computing. That line of argument is completely illogical.

I don't know about the teflon, but aluminum pans is deadly to us humans, it's okay for dogs to drink out of, just not for people.

Ok but space exploration is worth it. We are trying to look for life on other planets and the mysteries of space. And who knows maybe there is another planet out there that can support ourlife.

Really? Illogical? So computers, Teflon, GPS, weather forecasting, television, and considerably more. Guess that is all over-hyped and "illogical"? You should change your name to Theodore John Kaczynski. You are an insult to the Vince Flynn character.

Your argument assumes that these technological advances would not have come about had it not been for a government funded space program. Since you have no way of knowing that with certainty, it is illogical.

Well the space program did have a big effect in technology. Think GPS Cell phones, computers, and other stuff. We found radio waves and light rays and stuff in space. There are other stuff that the government funds to advance technology.
