Excitement rides high with Ravine Flyer II (VIDEO)

nice for waldameer not so nice for the people who live in the campground right below the ride. shame on nelson and the state who approved this ride. i see nothing but bad things happening with this ride being literally in people's back yards.

I couldn't agree more. I also find it curious that the Erie Times News has the resourses to cover this roller coaster story day-after-day on the front page, in depth, when they don't have the reporters to cover, in depth, stories that have MUCH more impact on it's Erie-area readers...i.e. the Com. College controvercy, the delapadation of Erie schools, the millcreek school meltdown, reassessment, etc.

Kids are better of on the roller coaster than on crack.

Lighten up, people. This coaster is attracting national attention among amusement park fans. Tourism is important for Erie and this coaster is going to really help Erie's tourism. I find it refreshing that Erie is making the news for something other than a 2 foot blizzard.
