Growth also means that the people moving in don't want to hear Mexican oom pah music blaring at 2 am. The new people actually have to get up in the morning and go to work.

Someone should have reviewed the permit application to start a dance hall in the middle of a residential area. What a stupid idea.

The negative response's is from the issuance of a flase statement a misinformed El Paso Times reporter hastely disclosed from a disgruntled neigborhood bully. I know I live in the neighborhood.

Just because he lives in Canutillo doesn't mean he's not entitled to the same protections provided in other richer neighborhoods. We have noise ordinances in this country for a reason and if they partiers don't like it, they can go party in Juarez to their hearts content. |

What is the reason you hate Mexican's so much Joe? In both your comments you express resentment for their music, what else bother's you about us?
|

I don't like that music blasing at 2 am - do you? It's the neighborhood complaining so it's not just about "race" so you can put that card away. |

Joe you are the one who mentioned Mexican oom pah music (Sunday) and that they go to Juarez (Monday)what's up son, try using ear plugs, I love the music and my culture, besides you are the one who is pulling the "race"card.

If you really love your culture then what's stopping you from returning home to Mexico? Americans need to sleep so they can get up and go to work the next morning. We have noise ordinances here in this country -- it's our culture. Like it or leave it. |

I live quite close to Salones La Mision, and in fact, there is much louder music and boisterous revelry coming from neighborhood parties in peoples' yards than from Salones La Mision. Mr. Ito provides a controlled setting within four walls and a fenced in parking area for special occasions. Parties in peoples yards don't provide this and we end up with very noisy and overcrowded yards with cars and people up and down the street and even around the corner invading our driveways and yards. Thank you Mr. Ito for providing this option to our community.

Bunch of drunk mexicans is all, nothing else. The sheriff department needs to stake out that place every time there is a "fiesta".
