Abby, I am so proud of you. I believe you can fly.
You have started the healing process, and I hope you all the success in the world. My mother was killed in an auto accident, and I feel your pain. You don't blame, you just try to push forward, and make something of your life in their memory. Abby stay strong. |

Majority of us speed, but when it is over 10 miles an hour, it just becomes reckless. This tragedy was an accident, the driver did not intentionally go out to kill someone. He was caught up in his own world and life like we all do sometimes, and sadly it resulted in lives lost.
Abby's little girl was so cute from the pix I've seen on show with her curly red hair; and her son did not get the chance to experience the world. Brought me to tears as if they were not strangers, but my children. Light was shed few years ago about out of control driving and speeding and the dangers. We need to continue to reiterate the dangers in school, at home, at parties, everywhere. Calm down and be safe. Dont just watch someone destroy lives and to something even if its just asking them to wait to drive. It seems like Abby is trying to put on a strong face. There's no rush to be "okay" or have the "Old Abby" back. As time goes on, the pain lessens, but for now it may seem like the accident just happened and you can still cry if you need to. You crying for your babies and your hubby three years later is normal- dont try to push yourself too much..your family understands-America does and we love you. You may be tired of being sad, but its fine. Be sad, cry, then remember your honeymoon or your daughter's recital, or your baby boys cry for you and rejoice for now you can be free from the sadness. Dont know her, but I Love Abby. She is a great inspiration and true hero!! Go Abby. She does radiate love- its contagious and I hope everyone gets it |

Meredith, You don't understand why this happened? It happened because your selfish, angry "friend" was didn't think about anyone other than himself. It is not an "accident" when you are driving 100 mph on the wrong side of the road. I would call it murder suicide. I am heartbroken for the family Justin destroyed. Either you did not know Justin well, or your standards for a loving person are humorously low! |

Abby... I am currently on a maternity leave with my three-week old little boy when I saw your TV interview on "Ellen." My heart absolutely broke when I heard your story. Watching you and hearing you speak was truly an inspiration. With all of the horrific stories that we see everyday in the news, seeing you and hearing your strength makes me hopeful for the world I have brought my child into. Thank you for being a true hero. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you continue on your life's journey. Thank you for your inspiration.

I'm sure he didnt set out that day planning on killing anyone. Yes he was reckless, stupid and selfish, but its certainly not for us to decide who deserves to live and who deserves to die. As jesus died on the cross he cried father forgive them they know not what they've done. Well i pray that god does forgive Justin and that people here can too. |
