I have always assumed the Secret Society was just a rip off of the movie and book "The Secret". The copywrite of the so called 56 page brochure is 2007, after the movie became popular. That blows away their claim for being a very old society.
Even "The Secret" movie admits to just compiling information from all those who have been saying the same thing over the past years,decades and centuries, both in other movie, on the internet and in numerous books and tapes.
I, In fact, thought the movie "The Secret" was a bit over the top, not in what it said, but in its claims that the information had been suppressed and banned. This was never true, but of course succeeded in creating buzz. That is bull.
For hundreds of years, many folks have been saying the same things in print, from pulpits, and otherwise, all with no negative consequences. Makes a good movie promo though.
I did enjoy the movie "The Secret", as I have long believed in its premises. I have also enjoyed and recommend the movie "What The Bleep Do We Know". The "Peaceful Warrior", "Celestine Prophecy" and others films also put froward the same premises.
It would still be interesting to see what else, if anything, is in the so called manuscript. Let me know if anyone has actually purchased the manuscript.
