Say Dick, what does CL&P have to say about this? Aren't they the ones that scrapped out the generators years ago?

I think it is a good idea. turn the otherwise wasted potential energy into something real. although the payback is not instant, it is the right thing to do. Go for it.

Say guys, what makes you think that CL&P is going to allow this? Who do you think has title to the water rights on the Farmington river? I think it's a GREAT idea to try and harness the energy that can be created using hydroelectric power, but if you think for one second that CL&P is going to let this happen you are sadly mistaken.

I suspect CL&P (or whomever is responsible for supply these days becuase it isn't CL&P) would be made to take the power. After all, they lost the war on solar and have to allow for net metering. Therefore this seems to be the same albeit a different source and more constant power. IF they balk, we lobby the DEP, and utility regulators. We cannot as a society to allow thes energy companies like the oil, electrics, and the like to control our lives like we have been.

Good job Mr. B. go for it.
