There is nothing wrong with these people.

They had a problem with a perversion, it was settled according to the Bible. End of story.

They are not technically Amish, but they are close enough to call them that if you don't care to spit hairs. Elmo Stoll was Amish. Most of the rest came from the Mennonites or German Baptists. Some were converted from the world. This is proof that plain people are only tolerated until they start making converts. Then people feel threatened.

I am glad to see that the "perversion"/ sexual abuse of children has been acknowledged. So it was settled according to the Bible? How was that? What about according to the law of the land? It seems this bunch think they are above the laws of the land. Can we all make our own rules and punishments and be exempt from law? I think not.

Nothing wrong with these people? The are literally wolf in sheep's clothing. The true Amish that are involved with this group are those that have been shunned or outcast from their own orders. The "converts" are simply following a cult originated by Bryce Geiser which himself lived "worldly" until he created this cult. This is simply a cult that adopted the Amish get up in order to make money and get away with crimes. Very smart, if the bus people of this community had donned bonnets and suspenders they would have had no trouble. Wake up......... this is a cult.

A friend of mine told me that there were statements on the internet that we were a bunch of "satan worshippers". I didn't see any sense taking it personal--this is a free country and you can say anything you like. A little later someone else told me that it also says that our boys are sexually molesting little girls and getting away with "rape and murder and all kinds of stuff". I decided to check it out. Sure enough.
It was immediately apparent, due to the nature and content of the blogs, where this was coming from. I am truly sorry that we have enemies and I wish it were not so. I have no desire to retaliate and yet, in the chance that an honest seeker of truth may stumble across this, it might be wise to respond.
I am Bryce and the villain (or biscuit) whichever you prefer. In our community, anyone who rapes, murders, or worships satan will be immediately excommunicated. If he has committed a criminal offense he will be reported to the civil authorities. I am confident that nothing similar has ever taken place here.
Sexual curiosity among the young, unconverted children is a reality that every church must deal with. Just when we think we have our act together, something happens to humble us and remind us how weak we are. The most common occurrences are during play or tussling, and there have been times when a boy took the opportunity to touch a girl in ways that he shouldn't have. This, I believe, is what people have heard about and it is the incident which Shamonikhemo refers to.
This is unnacceptable behavior in our community. We take this very seriously. In this case, we immediately sought outside counsel. We were advised, due to the young ages and the very brief encounters, to establish regular counseling sessions and require accountability, which we did.
That was five years ago. I am sure that all
parties involved would be sad to see their childish errors discussed in a public forum, but what is there to lose? If it provokes us and our families to even more holy lives, we will rejoice. "All things work together for good to those who love God."
A word to any perverted persons reading and/or writing this stuff: this community is no haven for you. We are required by law to reort you, and we will.

Well, I have been dieing to comment on this for a LONG time. Maybe you had better get your facts straight. Why don't you go and ask the head biscuits wife about it? Or maybe John and Cindy Pitonyak or Andrew and Jessica Hess? I did. I didn't believe it either, but I was wrong.
