Josh Carver

It is messed up when a father holds his dead son because no one would help find him. If only search and rescue would have helped maybe a life would be saved. Fuck waiting 24 hours to have search and rescue help. What if you know someone is lost. That 24 period is critical and they loose that time because they don't believe people. Josh Carver would still be here if they wouldn't have refused service. He was lost and they just wouldn't help. If the DA prosacutes his father for his death when it was ruled accidental drowning they're fucked up in the head. It is punishment enough to hold your dead sons body for a half an hour waiting for someone to come and knowing that your son was gone and there was no way to bring him back. Our systems are fucked up. His father is not the reason for his death because he called search and rescue to find his son. He tried to find him looking for 12 hours in the dark. If search and rescue would have showed up they would have brought lights to find him and more people to search the area. Being one person looking with no lights over a large area is hard. He father is a WONDERFUL man for not giving up hope. He even stayed with his son in freezing water for half an hour. THAT IS WHAT WE CALL LOVE. Thank you Kenneth Carver for not giving up. Without you we wouldn't be able to give him a proper burial. I am an ex-girlfriend of Josh and I still love him and he will forever be in my heart as well as other peoples hearts.

I was very sad to hear that Josh had passed away. I saw it on the news while I was brushing my teeth. I was sad that I had missed his burial because I had lost contact with him and his family since high school. It has been almost 4 years since I have seen his family. If anybody knows how to get ahold of his mother please let me know. Josh I will always miss you.
