My heart goes out to the families of all the victims of this senseless accident. Such a sad thing to happen, but when will people learn that stop signs mean just that...Full Stop. They aren't just ornaments there for the hell of it, they are there for your safety and the safety of every other driver on the road.

if she was distracted by the child she should have pulled over. 18 is a long straightaway coming up to 20 with open ground to the right where you can see that you are obviously coming up to a bigger road and the one your on does not continue straight across. RIP the driver but her "distracted" driving has the lives of four others in jeopardy

It was a 90 degree turn onto 20! No reasonable excuse. At least so far she is the only one dead.

Big Bucks, that she was distracted by a damned cell phone! Either an incoming call or text, or she was talking or texting-and trying to drive-at the time of the accident. We didn't need cell phones 20, 30, 40 or longer years ago, so why does just about everyone HAVE TO have one NOW?? It's seems that cell phones have become an EXTERNAL vital organ like your heart or lungs, that many of you just can't LIVE without. If you have an incoming text or call while you are driving, IGNORE IT!, until you get to where you're going. Either that or pull over SAFELY and answer the damn thing, if you must. No, I can afford one, but will never own one because from what I've seen so far, they are just a pain in the ass to have, are distracting and one more unnecessary expense that way too many people are spending too much time on. Just remember to TURN THEM OFF OR IGNORE THEM WHILE YOU'RE DRIVING SO YOU DON'T RUN A RED LIGHT OR STOP SIGN AND T-BONE ME OR ANYONE ELSE IN AN INTERSECTION, POSSIBLY KILLING US ALL! Just saying. Thank You.

Regardless how anyone feels. no facts are proven as to what caused it. assuming things is pathetic and you all are lowlifes for running your mouth on a forum. nicole is gone and many people are hurting the families the fiance is hurting her little baby boy and the other ppl of this accident are hurting. grow up and instead pointing fingers and assuming things due to previous things u c on the internet prior to it, send your prayers that everyone recovers and your condolences to the families you piles of shit.

You people are absolutely ridiculous. She was NOT Facebooking while she was driving. She did not know where she was and got distracted. People make mistakes. This doesn't mean you have to bash them for it. If it was you or a family member your loud mouths would not be saying the terrible things you are now and you know it. You should take a second to think before you speak/post things like that. That is life and mistakes happen. Just be grateful that the beautiful baby boy is going to be okay thank god and so is the other family. Its a horrible tragedy and for you people to sit here and say she deserved it…there's just about no hope left for the human race.

I have traveled 18 numerous times and it is very easy to not realize the stop sign is coming up, it sneaks up on you... I could imagine someone not from the area coming up fast not realizing theres a stop sign.. Being the skid marks are in the middle of 20 I dont think she had a chance to react till she got tboned..Very dad My heart goes out to all involved...

Maybe should have kept the phone down while she's driving in an unfamiliar area with a child in the car. The people she hit, were good friends of mine, two young girls and the youngest almost didn't make it. She just cake out of a comma. Prayers goes to the girls and child who is now.motherless because her phone was more important than her life, the life of her child, and the life of others.

I understand you people defending her if you wer her friend or are her family but come on?? Really? Alot of people saw the posts on FB that basically said she was texting and driving and messing with her GPS! And what, is it a coincidence that after the accident that whole fb post and comments were taken down? I think not..

The vehicle that had a mother and two girls in it are friends of mine, so I know how they are doing but can anyone please tell me how that poor 3 year old baby is doing? A lot of people I know in our community have been concerned about the baby but haven't heard anything.
knows the three as well

Antonio is back at home. He suffered some broken bones and bruises, but he is okay.
