Maybe everybody should all stay out of the way and let the emergency crews do their job.

When will contractors learn that OSHA has strict rules regarding trenching operations and they must be followed or heavy fines will be levied. Hope this contractor gets his due.

Next thing you know...OSHA will need signs to be placed in all trenches that say "Caution, Do not fall into Trench". Let's just be glad the guy is OK!

Cory, thank you for helping this man- these idiots that post "jokes" about what could well have been a tragic situation cannot be helped. They don't know that even though he has been rescued, he may have internal injuries. They have nothing better to do... Can you imagine their screams if it had been them??? Thanks again, Cory, for helping him.

"Hi honey. Man, what a day in the trenches at work...". Sorry, couldn't help myself.
Actually, you moron, you COULD help yourself! You could try to grow up and realize how frightening this must have been for the victim!!!!!

Sounds like you spent the day in the Trenches...OK. I'm sorry. I am glad he's alive and well. And you'll be happier when you get to that point where you both can laugh about it over a cold one.

Nice self glorifying statement to give you a reason to eat another bonbon. Cory has the right to lay into me. He was there and knows the guy. So unless you know these souls, I have two words for you. "Bite" and "Me".

after seeing how lightly these people are taking the situation, maybe i'll describe what i saw when i got to him. he was neck deep in dirt and his face was the color of a blueberry. had we not been there to help him out, this story would have a different ending. wonder how many of you would be laughing then.
