But at least Phil ran off that damn crazy lunch lady!! Don't anyone feel badly for her, she doesn't have much time for sitting around feeling sorry for herself, she's too busy having her nose up O'Neal's ass. Probably hoping for a job as deputy if he wins the election!!!!!!

She didn't make deputy. Guess we'll see if she gets on to the school board.

No, I don't think anyone in their right mind would want her on the school board. She just wants to stir up more crap just like she is good at.

Joe is a Reydon graduate. He has a family and wants to raise them in the community that he grew up in.

Hey, once was there, did you use to live in Reydon. You seem to know alot about what is going on there. I don't know what those two are thinking or do they even think. Thinking only about themselves and thier family certainly not the future of the Reydon School. So sad whats happening there it was once the best school around and could still be with a few changes. Glad I'm out of there.

yeah, me too.....Kelly is one of the biggest idiots their ever was and will stab you in the back when he gets a chance...a real american role model especially for acting like a preacher....oh does he not make enough money there that he has to take a preaching job in Canadian Texas to make ends meet. I bet it cuts into some school duties sometimes ....maybe someone should check it out.....but yet the two are basketball coaches so they are on a higher level than everyone else...

I am Billy "Joe" Farrell's wife. Joe is a hard working person who just wants to see our school and our children flourish. He grew up in this community and graduated from Reydon Schools. We just recently returned to this community and he is a totally unbiased person which is exactly what we need. He has no preconceived notions, does not look to stir up trouble, but will do what is necessary for the benefit of this school and it's students. He is an average person with the best interest of the school and students in mind.

the only reason Ms. Hindman wants on that school board is so she can be Phil's "boss" and cause trouble, I guarantee it! she has no vested interest in the kids up there anymore. i can't wait to cast my vote!!!! i only hope she doesn't start trashing Joe Farrell like her and Mr. Oneal did the sheriff.

Well, I guess I must have upset my husband's opponent with the add I placed on my husband's behalf in the paper. She put in an add saying she knows the "inner workings" of the school. This tells me she has alterior motives. I don't feel she has the best interest of the school in her sights. I think she is out for revenge... plain and simple. My husband, Billy "Joe" Farrell, will go in without any preconceived notions and will weigh all sides carefully before coming to an informed, fair decision. That is exactly what the school needs. Our children attend the school, so Joe will always put the interests of the students first. But it is also important that the faculty also have someone on the school board who will be fair and impartial. Without the faculty, we wouldn't have the school. Does anyone honestly feel that she will provide this?

I hope the school board sees the importance of art, music, drama, and possibly even a foreign language class, could be to the students of Reydon. Seems if a child is not athletically inclined, he is a nobody at Reydon School, since basketball is the main focus.

I also attended Reydon and there are many things to do if you show the intrest. Art was my thing and I had a wonderful teacher to see that I met the goals I wanted to meet. It is up to us parents now to also help our kids help themselves it is not just the responsibility of the school. I was not into basketball and never did I once think that I was a nobody at Reydon School.

I was not aware of a music program or art class being offered at Reydon. Excuse me for my misinformation, but in defense of the parent that I know that has children enrolled there, she works endlessly keeping her children involved in church and many other learning and playful activities. Reydon is a close-knit, loving little school. I was just merely hoping the school board would see fit to bring in more opportunities for those students that do not excel in basketball.

For those that have interest they should present those ideas to the school board. I think that they would do the best of their ability to provide activities and classes that are requested by the parents and students. My kids are still young so we haven't had to cross that bridge yet. I hope that she can resolve this issue. I do know that the school board can not bring in opportunities if the comunity does not speak up and get on the agenda to voice their ideas.

I know very few children that make a living out of music or art or basketball for that matter. I would much rather the school board and teachers concentrate on the kids education then what extra-curricular activities they can offer. I think the school board, and school officials have done a great job getting some really great teachers to come to the middle of no where to work! Now I just wish the town of Reydon would take as much pride in the look of the town as the school/board/officials have taken in the new school and clean up the town!

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Aquarius

Money is a source of friction between you and friends now, so treat it with caution and respect. There could be a disagreement between you and a chum about a possession or a debt that one of you owes the other. If you're trying to organize a forthcoming social event, you could come unstuck when working out how much it's all going to cost because it might be far too expensive.
