a voice of reason. Why is our government so afraid of legalization? I think they are afraid of the voter backlash. no guts. It is obvious to anyone thinking clearly that pot should be taxed and sold under supervision of the government. Other drugs, not sure, but lets at least take away the profit margins on pot.

It isn't government as much as the drug and alcohol industries. Think about them and ask why such big lobbies and look at the states they are from. And don't forget our elected politicians really work for the lobbies not the citizens.
