Hey wrote: You don't need to know his parents name to pray for them. Please pray for family and friends. It will be very hard to get through this without prayer I think this is being Very RUDE! I SAID THAT I WAS ALREADY PRAYING FOR THEM DIDNT I? The only reason I wanted to know is because I graduated with a Bowen that has a son about this age and went to school with several Bowens. As another post stated it will be known tomorrow anyway in the NEWS! I will pray for you also that you will have kindness in your heart.

I understand wanting to know someones parents because I did not know him but when I heard who his parents was, I realized I did know his father and uncles. Not everyone is rude for asking that. I'm so glad I found out because I do want to go to the funeral home and pay my respects because they are old friends that I never see but still think alot of. My prayers go out to the family and all his friends. From what I have heard he was a very nice guy. Very tragic to lose anyone.

His father is Gary and his mom is Cathy. Please continue to pray for them. This is going to be very hard on everyone. Adam was a friend to all who knew him. His death is going to bring sorrow to many people, a lot of young people looked up to him. He has played softball for years and has coached as well. Thank you all for praying for us.

seriously wrote: You know, some people just want to know who he is and they are able to piece that together through knowing who his parents are. I see nothing wrong with asking that. It's going to be on the radio in a day or so anyway. I agree that there's no reason to put the details of the accident and I've said that before about accidents. When someone loses their life in a wreck, it's bad, and that's all that matters. But I see nothing wrong with people trying to figure out who this family is because there are those of us out here who do random acts of kindness for people. Sure, we can all pray and should, and some will. But there are those of us who have lost family members the same way and go above and beyond just praying for a family. Perhaps I can't explain it to you if you've never lost a child in an accident. But I made a promise to myself that I would help in a small way for other parents who go through the same thing. However, it's hard to help someone when you don't know who they are. I agree with you on everything you said. I was friends with Adam and some of his familey and many of them are strong christans and they will be happy for all prayers. I have been through something close to this and I agree details should not matter but it is good to know who to pray for and have a ideal about what happen so we can detail some things on our prayers. I have said my prayer and if you do not like that let me know so I can pray for you. We all have to remember that some people are still in shock and will be touchy and that is understood. I think some are worried howthis will be handled on topix and you can not blame them for that but this does reach many people. Everyone just be honest and do not ask if this happen or that because thats how lies starts.
