This state electing a repub gov is like showing dracula the cross. It wont happen is why we are where we are in this country. 80 years of ruin by the democrats. This election will not be close as wv folks cant get beyond the letter "d" in the alphabet. Too many on welfare with their hands out wanting their "freebies" from the democrats.
Totally agree!

We were not out of debt. Just had a balanced budget on paper only bcause the repubs held both houses of congress and forced clinton to do this. As for electing obama it was the young and dumb who did this. It was their version of the real american idol. Stupidity is a very expensive commodity and boy are we paying for it now but that will change for good in 13 months when the democrats are eliminated countrywide. If not the usa is finished.
Amen brother...it was the young, dumb, and "progressive" who f'd us over 08 and now they're the one's who are paying the biggest price; no jobs! They say the young is wasted on the young, that's why I've always said the voting age should start at 25 unless you're in the military. As for the Country being out of debt when GW took office, OMG, anyone who doesn't know the difference between a balanced "BUDGET" and a national "DEBT" doesn't need to post on political sites; that has to be one of the dumbest comments I've ever seen before.

The latest posting by the Treasury Department shows the national debt has now increased $4 trillion on President Obama’s watch.
The debt was $10.626 trillion on the day Mr. Obama took office. The latest calculation from Treasury shows the debt has now hit $14.639 trillion.
It’s the most rapid increase in the debt under any U.S. president.
The national debt increased $4.9 trillion during the eight-year presidency of George W. Bush. The debt now is rising at a pace to surpass that amount during Mr. Obama’s four-year term.
And every dollar of it belongs to Bush.
The budget for 2009 (written by Bush, but counted against Obama) over $1TRILLION deficit.
The Wall Street bailout, requested by Bush, but counted against Obama, nearly $1TRILLION.
The stimulus needed to keep us out of a depression (caused by republican policies)$780BILLION.
The unfunded drug bill passed by Bush and the republicans, another $500BILLION.
Cutting taxes TWICE then borrowing for 2 wars...Bush

This funk we're in is all Bush and the republicans. Only a fool would want to put them back in power.

The democrats sure like to spend our money. If unchecked they would spend us into bankruptcy and turn us into a nanny nation. Wait,I think we are almost there!!!

If we had elected a Republican last time it would have served them right. They would have to try to clean up the mess left by the Bushits. That would have been the last Repub. elected, FOREVER ! The greedy bunch turns on their own party just before election, every time. The tax rates are a dirty shame. Pay your fair share and be American. Build it here or don't sell it here. How many of you LIKE being part of the "Global Economy" ?

Loni,West Virginians are stupid and shouldn't even be discussing politics. All they know is coal mining and deer hunting.Leave the politics to those who have an education and a job.Now chew on your dried possum and groundhog and go to bed.
