Remembering the Fort Hood victims

What can you say, very powerful somber ceremony.

Was a beautiful service. My thoughts are with these heros and the sacrifices their families have made. I salute you all.

I watched it on CNN. obama was suppose to appear at 2 but diden't show till 3.10
He recnoized all who was killed reading off a little history about the fallen soldiers.
All his speach was about how the military stays together in trying times.
I thought I would hear him say he would do everything in his power to make sure that this horrific insodient woulden't happen again. He did NOT. A lot of meanless words

I don't think the words were meaningless for the families.

I am so glad those Idiots from Westboro Baptist Church who protests outside of funerals of servicemen didn't show up. They have been protesting against fallen soldiers.. thankfully they stayed in Kansas

May all our fallen soldiers RIP.

More has to be done to make sure this will NOT happen again on our milirary bases.
As the Generial stated in his this is OUR soil.

Good God, man! Only a nutcase would try to make political hay out of a tragedy such as this.

Why don't you find something worthwhile to do with your time, instead of going into a frenzy of hate, malice and racism?

There are people everywhere, especially around military bases, who could use a helping hand. Those people face death, deprivation, pain and suffering often and uncomplainingly.

Why don't you spread some love and sunshine, instead of trying to capitalize on other peoples' pain?

I am a VET. I have 2 nephews in Iraq and one waiting for orders.
This is what out military is feeling.
Not sending troops more getting killed. October is the highest in causlities since the war started.

There are many military people who feel that OBama should of address the inflitration of radicals in our military at the service. The General did But NOT Obama. He spoke in one monitone with little emotion.
What they were looking for was for him to show some anger that this happened. He diden't even say he would do his best to better secure our bases.
Why did he CUT security at our bases.
The man went through the motions nothing more nothing less.

FYI there are over 4,000 Muslims in our military.
Thank GOD we have good Generals looking out for out soldiers becaus OBama is not!!!!
