South Side teen put on probation for arson

A teen who admitted involvement in three arsons on the South Side was placed on two years' probation yesterday by a Franklin County Juvenile Court magistrate.

Does the words repeat offender ring a bell?
The kid is obviously troubled, and the parents have major issues for letting their kid go this far, but mmaybe some foster paretns will do better.. Then again if he gets the ones that want him for the welfare check (which does happen), he's going to be even worse off..
Hope for the best, get him some counselling that teaches him right from wrong and shows him what he does causes others wrong.. Not sure that will work, but hey wortha try.

I wouldn't worry too much, I am sure the young arsonist will end up in police custody again soon. Lets just hope nobody gets hurt while he continues his criminal rampage.

i don't understand how this same judge can send other children to the department of youth services for lesser crimes than arson which could've of killed people if they wouldve been in these homes. She needs to be reexamined from the bar.Shes very prejudice she lets other kids walk with a slap on the wrist for dealing crack cocaine come on now she needs to treat every child equally.
