Lowell woman appealing conviction in horrific '97 abuse case

This woman MUST serve her time. As it is,she got off light in the sentencing.

This woman should stay in jail, what she and her husband did to those kids is a disgrace. She should never get out.

That's awful. They're going to waste money to help someone who deliberately abused, raped and drugged her children? She should be thrown back in jail and serve the time.

Molesting a child should be a capital crime punishable by life in prison without possibilty of parole OR in that states that have the death penalty- death. Because the victims have to do life, a life marred by abuse and the fallout from that abuse. Why not the offender too?

when i look at that cowards face i smile at the thought of what the last 11 years in state prison has been like for him. an eye for an eye is very under rated in my opinion

This woman is disgusting. These poor children. They should use that money for the counseling those kids are going to need.

Both parents had their day in court and were found guilty. That should have been the last anyone hears on this.

Why are these people entitled to breath?

She got off easy, they never brought up her baby girl that died in California before they came here and abused the boys. Please dont waist a moment on these two subhumans. PLEASE !

The purpose of the constitutional right to counsel is to avoid a rush to judgment caused by sensational publicity [like this] and a rush to judgment based on rumor, surmise, and bias.

If an attorney did a full and fair investigation [as counsel are required to do] and determined there was a sound basis for a New Trial motion, then this is a constitutional right.

We are all made less when a rush to judgment is based on sensational bias and incomplete facts.

So, without sitting in the place of whatever judge is reviewing this matter, I suggest that heaping abuse on someone you don't know based on a a sensationalizing bit of main stream media hype is gutter behavior.

I personally do not know whether this woman is guilty as charged, or was herself a victim. What I do know is heaping abuse on her as "subhuman" on the basis of media coverage strikes me as wrong.

This women should rot in hell the rest of her life. I can not believe the state would waste money on this person.

When children are not only betrayed, but abused by the only people they should be able to trust and learn from then I believe there is no punishment that will help these children to live a full and happy life- I just think there is no worst crime than this. I wish the boys to be strong and persevere.

If it takes a village to raise a child then dont we all have the responsibility to show those boys that what happened to them was wrong and NOT their fault. Giving "Mom" any satisfaction or hope to be free would be a direct hit on those boys. Haven't they suffered enough? Those two in jail left wounds that will never heal. This whole ordeal has spread like cancer through several families, never to be the same again.

both the parents need to get the same treatment that they put there kids through. they should get rammed by the big boy/and girls in jail

Writing these words, i sadly admit, Nancy may very well have been only half as culpable as her Husband.

I went to school with the 3 oldest boys, and was horrified to read in the papers what happened to them. At the time that this story broke I was only a child myself and couldn't believe what I was reading. But then I also realized that the horrible abuse that they suffered at the hands of their own "parents" might have explained their strange behavior at school....I am disgusted that this woman may get the chance to have a new trial and use the battered woman claim. She had sex with her sons, she should rot in jail just like her husband!

I agree. The sad thing is that these kids will never forget what happened to them.
