Daniel Ogg - Ventura resident arrested for continuous sexual abuse of child

We did send in our statements to be put into his file. I am not worried about him trying to get "revenge" on our grandkids but I want to make sure he never finds another girl to do this to. I do want to make it as hard as possible that he never gets out. I am going to try to come out for the sentencing but I am not sure if I will be able to. I will be on the computer little after his sentencing time if I am not there.

I am glad to see that this is all over; for the time being of course (we never know what happens the next day after we fall asleep). After a long endeavor and my complete support, I can say that things should be more peaceful and we can all continue with our lives at this point. Although I cannot ignore the crimes he has committed, nor the pain that has ever been caused, I wish he will find eventual peace and content with himself. None of us in this life are perfect; we all make mistakes: some more severe than others. And even though some may disagree, sometimes the best thing we can do is to forgive and let go. I'll spend the rest of my life trying to help my now-wife do that, although she has a pure heart and will eventually do this regardless of what I advise. I just wanted to thank everyone involved and supportive of the family. Although I came into this situation rather late, I'm still proud to have helped her find the strength and inner-support that she has needed in the past. So again, thank you. I hope we (not just me or her; but all of us) can live a peaceful and content life. And we love you all.

And Lisa; you do not personally know me but I'm positive you know of me. I know this has all been rather hard on you as it has been for everyone involved. I just wish you the same peace I wish for your son. I am not textbook religious; I simply believe in personal morals and standards and I'll simply have to see what our course is after life. But I wish you the best and I truly hope that you take care. We all deserve peace and tranquility.

i read that he got 18 years in prison, with 28 years probation and lifetime registration as a sex offender. he's toast.
