Calvert Elementary Principal

What does everyone think of the principal at Calvert Elementary? I've been hearing about boys fighting in the bathrooms and I want something done about it. Talking to her won't help. Kids can't even go to the bathroom at school without worrying about getting beat up! I'm sick of it! CCES needs a new principal.

i just talked to my son about it, andhe says Ms. Oneal sent notes home with the children that were envolved, to let the paretns handle their children and that she may have talked to them.

I did hear she was leaving after christmas..not sure if thats true or not.

She's still the principal there. I'm not very impressed with her at all!!

I for one would love to see her gone and a few others over there but that will not make us come back there. She is always in everyone elses business other than taking care of the kids. I think she has a personal issue that prohibits her thinking as a true principal should.

She does a great job. Try making your kids behave.

CCE Parent, Concerned said "kids can't go to the bathroom without worrying about getting beat up" which implies that her child is the one being bullied, not the bully. It's not hard to see why some kids become bullies--all you have to do is spend 5 minutes with parents. If the shoe fits....

Are you implying that it is okay to bully a child? CR2 you need to have your ass beat if that is what you mean. If there is a real problem with the Bullying at this school it needs to be dealt with, my son goes to school at Sharpe which has to be one of the best schools I have ever seen as far as care and character from the staff, and weekly almost he tells me proud stories of how a bullied child handled the bully. Maybe Calvert should look into this and start working with their students. My child was actually bullied by his teacher last year at Calvert and as soon as I got the chance I pulled my child out!

At cces many teachers are judgemental but most of them are young and haven't been seasoned... As far as the bullying goes it is called being a productive parent and person in society and if someone has a problem that is not dealt with by the school officials then get social services involved becaused there is a problem at home that is making them aggressive!!!

She's a horrible principal and always has been.

I'm personally about sick of CCES all together. Some teachers are ok. It blows my mind what stupid rules are enforced and what the kids can get away with.

I'm an old student of hers. She's really touchy. She got mad at me, grabbed my arm and pushed me against a locker. I was in the 5th grade then. I'm a sophomore now. I'd love to see her gone. She's a bad principal.

I have had it with some of the teachers at cces. For the last 2 yrs I have had my sons teachers trying to tell me my son has ADD. The problem is teachers don't want to take the time to work with kids anymore so they try to get them medicated so they are easier to deal with.
