Hola todos y Viva Espana!

Before commenting on your Spanish specialties and wines, let me first congratulate the FC Barcelona for winning the UEFA Champions League this year against the defending champion Manchester United in Rome tonight. 2:0 and they were really a good team and played very well.

In the EM last year Spain is also holding the title for the next couple of years. It seems that Spain Soccer team are doing well nowadays. Congratulations!!!

I have been in some places in Spain and I'm familiar with your dishes and wines, etc. Oh! how I love it! I was also working in a restaurant with Spanish specialties for five years with Spanish music, sangria, tiramisu, carajillo along with the lists. Most of all, I come from the Philippinnes where we also are influenced from your cuisine and culture.

I love reading about the origins of traditional dishes. It's always interesting to hear for example that paella, Spain's most popular dish, was once considered a 'poor man's dish'. I just wish that there were more vegetarian Spanish dishes! I am not a big meat-eater, but most of Spain's dishes contain some sort of meat or fish.

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Sagittarius

After all the excitement of the past few days you're longing for the chance to put your feet up and take life easy for a while. Ideally, you should bury your nose in a good book and be left alone until you resurface for a food transfusion. But you'll also enjoy chatting to someone you know very well and for whom you don't have to make a big effort, such as a close relative.
