Obama stumbles; voters reconsider

Tara Wilson is the kind of voter Barack Obama covets. The 21-year-old from Lusby in Southern Maryland calls her 2004 vote for George W. Bush "probably the worst decision I've made in my life." After seeing ...

Has anyone stopped to think--with Hillary posing slamming drinks back with "the boys"--what message she is sending to young people, ie., you have to drink to be popular?

And what "intern-friendly" Bill back in the White House would do to efforts to promote abstinence, or even responsible sex, among teenagers?

When you want to teach your children the importance of honesty, does it become any easier when the occupants in the White House are known as "Full Metal Jacket" Hillary and "The Dear Hunter" Bill?

RFK said politics is an "honorable adventure."

It is time that we help Barack restore that view to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Okay, so what was the purpose of this article? To tell us that different people have different opinions on the different candidates? Big deal!

What planet is everyone on? Fiery black pastors aren't some new phenomenon--go to several black churches all over the US and you'll find them! It doesn't mean the black people who attend these churches hate white people, black ministers just help the black community make sense of the injustices they have experienced and continue to experience. OBAMA'S MOTHER IS WHITE, for God's sake!!!

Furthermore, it's intriguing that Wright became a bigger story than Bosnia. I'd rather have a president who once had an outspoken minister, than a president who thinks I'm such an idiot, she can tell a bold faced lie, then simply gloss it over with "I made a mistake...it proves I'm human." RIDICULOUS!!!

The poor democrats are doing a lot of job for you reps. As they fight agaisnt each other you stand to gain. But in politics it is not over until it is over. The democrats will possibly reunite behind behind a wining candidate after August.

This illustrated the level of ignorance most people in America seem to have. Better to have a continuation of the current administration (McCain) then elect Obama because -gaaaaaaaaasssspppp

-His name. That is how we should elect presidents, only those with normal, traditional names can become president. Ya, smart guy. 4 more years of Bush, I can't wait.

Someone needs to do a definitive "Electability" score card for these 2 candidates, listing all positives and negatives. When will the media begin to remind voters of the Clinton highjinx from that scandal ridden administration? They have been sailing through this campaing completely unfettered by their past misdeeds and mistakes. If Obama is going to be hung for Wright, Ayers, etc. then the Clintons deserve equal treatment. If voters become reminded of what Republicans will plaster the media with if Hillary is the nominee they might recover from their amnesia. Way too many have swallowed the Clinton memory-fade Kool Aid!

DEMOCRATS WANT OBAMA TO DROP OUT NOW!
More than half the voters will not vote for obama!: 56% who heard speech less likely to vote for Obama, his unfavorable rating among registered voters up 35 percent, Clinton leads McCain 48 to 41 percent among all registered voters, while Obama and McCain are tied. National lead dropped 10pts now tied with Senator Clinton and he is now losing in IN too. Once 25 pts ahead in NC now just 5pts-

Obama's Chickens Come Home to Roost too little, too late. The Wright controversy had revealed a major character flaw and calls into question his judgement once again and truthfulness of the candidate whose entire appeal has been based on character. Wright is like an uncle you love and respect As imperfect as he may be, he has been family to me for so many years, I can no more disown him than I can disown the black community” "I can no more disown him [Jeremiah Wright] than I can disown my white grandmother." a woman who once confessed her fear of black men after a black man had tried to shake her down for money. She gave him some, but he kept demanding more. "If the bus hadn't come, I think he might have hit me over the head," Obama says she told him. Rev Wright was right! Obama speech is ONLY for political purposes after the severe drop in polls!

Obama is now declaring himself shocked and disappointed at Wright's unrepentantly racist and anti-American views? Obamas obviously support his feelings of anti-America and white hatred that the church endorses to stay for 20 years and raise young daughters in that atmosphere Obama can no longer plausibly claim innocence in this matter, because he is the one who has encouraged Wright by trying to excuse and explain his views. All of this is why it is no use for Obama to backpedal from his association with Reverend Wright, or to denounce him now, six weeks too late. It was Obama who sought to provide the Reverend Wright with immunity from criticism--and he can't complain when the reverend tries to take full advantage of that immunity. This is the final collapse of the noble promise of the Obama campaign. The man who had once put himself forward as the candidate who would transcend racial politics once and for all has ended up legitimizing a Christian equivalent of Louis Farrakhan--and injecting him into the American political debate. Wright “Calls for Justice and Repair,” followed a statement in which he declared that “The Biblical principle of true repentance is that the offended party is given compensation to make up for that which has been stolen from them, the losses that have been inflicted upon them and their families.” A reparations plan for blacks could extract several trillion dollars from American taxpayers’ pockets. http://www.dontvoteobama.net

Hey, how about a story on the Right Wing Radical preachers that have endorsed McCain and who McCain embraces?

Like John Hagee?
Like Jerry Falwell?

The things these men have said show a true loathing of Americans.

The Wright/Obama thing? It's over.

I wouldn't vote for Obama if he were the last person on earth. Not only does he have no experience whatsoever in leadership or that he truly has not made one good policy decision for his state or our country but I believe that his beliefs totally mirror those of his nut pastor.

The Dems just get too excited about the possibility of something new and are likely to nominate Obamakakis.

But I'll still vote for him because in the long run anyone is better than letting another republican control the courts and keep us in a war that is destroying our economy.

Imagine, just Pennsylvania has voted since the wright issue began. I think it is going to be the most serious problem the Dems will face if Senator Obama is the nominee. A group of evangelical christians I know voted for Senator Obama in Texas, they are going republican if he is the nominee. It goes completely to the fact that he sat in that church for 20 years. wright didn't change, Senator Obama did when it became politically necessary.

Does Rusty refer to your brain activity? Hagee or Falwell never called the USA the USKKKA and never said we were responsible for 9/11.
