What ever happened to the MicroTel Hotel? Did it ever open? I heard from someone that it was for sale. Is Ellison still building there or did he leave too? Write me at zanadua@yahoo.com. I'd love to hear from someone in California City.

The hotel is in the process of being finished now,
since the recent departure of city manager William Way.
Ellison stopped all construction as he vowed not to continue anything until that knucklehead city manager was Gone.
He resigned and took the managers job for the city of Needles and has since been replaced by the former Chief of Police - Linda Lunsford.
Moving right along now...

I saw that Microtel is for sale and heard the Ellison has left town. No work has been done in almost a year. Anyone know whats going on with the grocery store? Is it ever coming?
