<quoted text> I know many a CO walked off for over faniliarity and female Cos for having sex with inmates. More so then medical staff. You do not know me. You do not know my work ethics. You as well as I know the system it self is run by a bunch of morons who give inmates to much. I would like to know what your job is in the system. And if you worked with medical and found that they are doing things to cause safety issues you should have done something about. I have plenty of times had discussions with my nurses when things become a safety issue. I will not allow them to put themselves or any of the COS in danger.
I wasn't walked off dummy, I left because I got smart! Of the eleven of us in orientation, only three were left after three years. I still work for the state in a lovely building, with no strange people (staff nor criminals), zero to no tension, and my life is not in danger.

I never said you were walked off. I said I see mwny walkes off. Whether COS or nurses. You never answered what your job was. I am very happy where I work. I am not a nice office building type girl. So you are happy where you are I am happy where I am. What I don't understand is all the name calling. Your post and attitude seem more like you would have been there for a short stay rather than a job.

When? We just had a few assaults at Lancaster State. This stuff never makes the news. Unless of course it's a riot and inmates get hurt. People don't realize what a dangerous job COS have. to

actually an officer was killed in chino in 2005 and although it wouldn't matter whose fault it was it had nothing to do with a mentally ill person. get your facts straight bitch!person

Only one guard has been killed in California prisons since 1985 and that was the fault of the guards for putting a mentally ill person in the wrong type of housing. There will be a bloodbath with the new rules change that forces inmates to double cell with violent people, or people in the same "gang."
Anyone who condones violence on either side is not obeying the ten commandments and should seek help for their mental illness. I believe that "Southside Gang Member" is a plant and not a real person.
The government has declared war on the kids and by splitting themselves up into "North" and "South", they cannot vote people out of office who are pushing tough on crime laws.
It's an industry of human bondage, the new slavery, and the kids need to use their gang organizing skills to get out the vote to stop this insanity.
Kids are in prison for simply being present at a crime, life sentences for simply being there.
Kids need jobs, free after school activities, they need to have guidance on the prevention of mental illness and substance abuse.
The people posting here to "kill gang members" are homicidal killers, just like the most mentally ill person on death row. So much of this violent, mental illness could be prevented.
The Repugs insisted that the Hispanic and blacks, poor white mothers be forced to work, now their children are growing up like weeds, with no supervision or direction
Crime prevention must be done on the front end. If we go back in time to when crime was very low, that's what was happening, the kids had moms who stayed home and kept a short leash on them, jobs after school, free sports and after school activities, drinking, smoking and doing drugs were strictly forbidden in the better homes.
And your dad would beat the tar out of you if you ever thought of touching the family gun. None of the crime prevention factors of yesterday are in place today.

Lets not forget the to officers that got murdered in Pelican Bay, a hit put out on any officer when possible, just to prove that they could do it.
