I think an article on this subject is great but there is no mention of the legality of individuals setting off fireworks on their own. I know their was a recent article mentioning that authorities will be issueing citations without prior warnings this year. Same articles and promises as in the past but no follow through.
It's all well and good to keep animals away from public displays but when every Tom, Dick and Harry is blasting away there are very few quiet places to go. Why, when there are laws in place, should pet owners have to relocate to find quiet places for themselves and their pets? I am a war vet and believe in celebrating the country's independence. Let's just do it without infringing on other people's rights! Let's push for law enforcement officials to enforce the law! |
