All charges were dropped. The truth came out.
He was trying to protect the woman and himself from any injury.

And he got fired?

I knew him personally.
Great guy, did (more than) his job.
He told me he didn't want to come back to this dump.
Good for him, he was too good for this town and became another example of what happens in Calhan if you don't become an "US".
