WZZM13 - Gang Activity in Grand Rapids; Parents say Enough is E...

Parents say Enough is Enough. Heck yea enough is enough. It seems the Grand Rapids Police Department doesn't care. Sooner or later all the gangs will be gone because they all have gotten shot. Does the Grand Rapids Police Department care, what have they done to try to stop the vilonce activity?

We were at Club Revolution last night. I was parked right outside of the club and i saw the kids come out. it appeared that it was just firecrackers set off. It was not loud enough to be gun shots.

It is not only GR, it is all over. Holland has it bad and they cover it up. what is the answer for cover up?

I'm a junior at cedar Springs High school and that nigh i drove a group of friends there. we were all excited and the meghan girl i hung out with alot with at the club...We were have the greatest time ever and all talking about coming next week. now non of me or my friends can go again until the area is better for teens to visit.

and my last post the place i live is cedar springs not lakeview i dont know why it says that...if anyone has any questions on what happened to any kids. email me at soccercoy7@yahoo.com. i was there closest to the door at first when shots were heard

First of all, tell me how this club can restrict the parents of these kids from coming inside. The 14-17 year olds are minors are they not.I would really like to see them try to stop an adult parent trying to get their child from inside that place. It seems illegal to me. Can any one tell me what is going on here?

I guess its considered a private party and they can choose who to allow inside, but i dont know....I thought it seemed like a pretty safe place on the inside during all the excitement and panic. All of the security guards pushed kids to one area and made every one stay out of harms way.

I think the Parents should be held responsible for their Kids that are in GANGS they are not parenting if their kids are running the streets with guns shooting and killing other kids and other people.
And YES Something does need to be done NOW before any one else gets hurt or killed
I hear older people say back when they were young if we got out of hand Our parents would tear their behinds up now a days people are afraid to spank their kids and LOOK WHAT IS HAPPENING.kids killing kids.the courts made it ok for this
spanking and abuse are 2 different things and Parents SHOULD NOT BE AFRAID TO SPANK THEIR KIDS maybe then they would not end up in the streets killing each other

my parents say i cant go back to the club and i think it a load of crap. what are they going to do keep me from school if someone brings a gun. they cant protect us all the time. i will go back to the club with or without my parents premission. i dont really care i was 15 yards from the person with the gun. who cares i dont if they had better guards then stuff like this wouldent happen. but still i dont care i will be going back!!!!

ya its me again i forgot something.... so ya as for the cops and stuff trying to stop they arent doing crap if they wrer there would not be any more shootings or stabbings. so if they try harder to stop it they might be able to do something. but also the person who shot is smart enofe to know that there is going to be heat at the club now what are the chances of him comming back and doing it again.

ok last time i sware! but ya i have been to the club every weekend and i have gotten in a few fights but this is the first time anything has happened like that and the chances of it happening again are slim to none.

i saw the gun i was close enough to realize that it was a cap gun not a real gun so let all the comotion stop

stop crying over this it was a cap gun and all the parents who wont let there kids go to the club anymore are stupid my kids will still be able to go.

it wasent a real gun so stop trippen over it

it was not a real gun the police dident find any shells so how do we know if it was real. if they found some it would be diff. but i dont think it was a real gun and i was there it was to quiet to be a gun and my kids will be able to go untell i find out some hard edvince about the shooting.
