"While caring for my father during his terminal illness, he stained the bedroom carpet. A local carpet cleaner told me the carpet needed to be 'deep-cleaned' and sanitized. He charged me $80, and when he left, the carpet looked good. However, when it dried, the stains all came back, plus there were rake lines. A friend recommended Oviedo Carpet and Upholstery. Bill came out and told me the first company did not use the proper chemicals or process. He spent almost an hour recleaning the carpet. After it dried, it looked great, almost new again. Bill said that since the other cleaner took me for a ride, he did not want to charge me. I said his time and expertise were worth it to me, but he would not accept any money. He only asked that I pass along his name and company."

Wow - that is rare, kudo's to the Carpet Company.

Okay, what am I missing about Greg's query regarding a gift card to The Gap?

The Gap went bankrupt and/or is closing stores.

I hope the phones at Oviedo Carpet and Upholstery ring off the hook. THIS company knows how to conduct business, and God knows that is in short supply.

My son-in-law works for GAP (home office). They did NOT file for bankruptcy. Yes, they have closed some stores but are in the process of opening more. They do 1 BILLION dollars of sales a MONTH. So go ahead and buy those gift cards!
