Unbelievably high rates!?!

Has anyone else noticed the unbelievably high rates the City of Cairo charge for utilities? Its almost as if you have to decide between eating and cooling your house.

Should come as no surprise, what with Sanford Bishop and the Dem's supporting things like Cap and Trade (which drive up energy costs for everyone). It may be a "city of Cairo" thing, but they are just passing the "savings" along to you from the horrible shape that things are in economically (thank your Democratic houses of Congress). Please vote whatever bums have been in office for you OUT and get someone new in there that will actually make a difference for the people, rather than sitting on their posteriors in office for years, living off the taxpayer dime.

When we voted out Bush and Cheney and the Republican majority in the House and Senate we were voting out the "BUMS". Cheney's "secret" meeting with the oil company executives to formulate America's "Energy Policy" was probably one of the most expensive things that ever happened for your and my electric bill. The economic "crash" took the Republicans almost seven years to accomplish, it will take Democrats longer than 18 months to fix what Republicans screwed up.
Whatever you do, don't vote for an "unknown quantity"... Mike Keown is in way over his head and just doesn't know it yet. If he is elected he and everyone else in this Congressional District will suffer for his ignorance. I'd be willing to let you find out on your own if it didn't involve me too, but what he would do will affect all of us. Re-elect Bishop !!!
