I say make it illegal for him to won or purchase a car. Whoever sells him one should be help liable to. Make it so he can never drive no matter what. MAybe cut his hands off.

Just goes to show that the legal system is flawed.....its all about the money, legal fees etc......this situation will never happen again when a drunkard drives and kills someone who would be related to someone in state government.....for us pawns, it doesn't matter.....much

Go sit in court for a few days.... it is a real eye opener...there are people out there with 20 or more offenses.... but they drop off after 7 years...the new law doesn't have a fourth offense.( if the laws and sentencing was followed it should be next to impossible to offend and get caught more than three times in seven years, due to the supposed sentences.)
An alcohol offense such as a DUI or OWI I didnt think ever "CAME OFF" your record. I think it drops after so many years, allowing you to not be considered a "High Risk" driver, but they ALWAYS remain in the State data base.(Or so I thought). Like if you were pulled over at 21 and received a DUI or OWI, obviously being your first offense, and then got pulled over again at 45 for a DUI or OWI, that would then be considered your 2nd offense? Right?? My boyfriend got one 2 years ago, and this is how we understood it. Luckily he has learned and WILL NOT drink and drive anymore!!

As for this idiot who was arrested 12 times, the News said he was stopped and arrested 8 times with a suspended/revoked license!! That alone should be enough to lock him up, not even mentioning the fact that he was drunk as well.

This individual needs some serious detoxing and license permanently taken away.
it would do no good to permanently deny him a license. He has been cought numerous times driving with a supened license. As for detox he will automatically go through that when he goes to jail. The question is what do we do to ensure when he gets out (if he gets out) that he does not atart all over again.

police firings, and some $10 million cost to detroit,
and gets 120 days in jail, maybe down to 100 days!

the reason he isnot in jail is because we hae this judge who for some reason if your name is big enough up here you get slaps on the hand. my dad calls it the good ol' boys club hve a prodment last name like musselman for example who has been here forever you get off or a light sentce. don't believe me again lets look at the name musselman a woman with that last name killed her daughter 2 years ago her sentence the mental ward once she is deemed ok by the good medical doctors she is free plain and simple no punishment welcome to missaukee and wexford county. i'm in lake city which is ten miles of cadillac
