What would Michaelangelo say?

I enjoy the murals when I come back to Breckenridge. I took pictures of them to show to my kids and grandkids. I loved every one of them.
I think its great that someone will take their time to restore them.

I agree, as I have lived over 2000 miles away and the murals are just one of the many home-coming things that I enjoy too!

Thank you! Not only are they being restored, but there are plans for more murals. The Friends of Historic Breckenridge has made the mural restoration their lastest project.

I'm sorry, but I just do not agree with this one. Mike was a great guy yes, but a mural on the walls of Breckenridge he does not deserve. Those murals are more for the heritage of the town, not Mike's senseless shooting that ended in his tragic death. So in the logical side of my mind, I cannot even begin to think you were serious in this said suggestion.

I know you didnt grow up there in b-town, but f.y.i. in junior high a very popular chick by the name of Amber was thrown in the trash can by her friends, they were just playing around, but she got cut pretty serious. Sorry, that one sentence of yours just triggered that memory. And for the record, I agree, you have wonderful suggestions and ideas.

I would love to see a Mural painted for Tanner Monk. He is still in my heart and mind. We have lost too many young people in the last year or so and I hope it ends. I see too many people that are so neglectful with their children it pisses me off. We have these shirts from the PD that say "Got Dope?"..How about shirts that say .."Put your kid in a damn seatbelt!"

Something being done in Tanner's memory sounds good to me too. Not a day goes by that I do not think of him, he was one of the sweetest boys iv'e ever known. I think that was one of the worst tragedies that's happened there in B-ridge.
I see kids without seatbelts here all the time. It makes me sick, do these parents not know or care what kinda danger they are putting their kids in by not making them buckle up? Not to long ago out on the west side, there was a wreck and the grandma was holding the grandbaby, someone ran the stop sign and hit them killing the child instantly. Coulda been prevented by just having the kid in the backseat buckled in. My kids arent even allowed near the front seat. I love them too much!
