I think they should give her a bionic arm and let her choke the life out of every single person who led to the loss of her arm! This is terible!

Ms. Levine says, "Nobody, nobody understands what it's like to just operate with one hand. Everything you do requires two hands, even when you think you only need one,"

It IS an awful thing to happen. But it did happen. You are fooling yourself to say "nobody understands what it is like.” That is BS. There are many people that have lost limbs that had lives or professions that are easier with 2 hands/arms. Not all of them were fortunate enough to be compensated to the degree that you have been. I have hope that you will be able to adapt to a new way of living. You don't need 2 arms to teach the wonder of music to children.

Maybe her case will speed up the Merck co. about the deadly drug Vioxx, they are trying to deny this caused thousands upon thousands of deaths, heart attacks and strokes, and the victims are being railroaded. This was mass murder, and they got away with it. I lost everything over this, like lots of others, and yet they do not won't to admit their wrongdoing. Trying to do anything with one arm is hell. I know she had rather have that arm back anyday than all the money in the world, a man-made limb never can replace what nature gave you, so don't once think this woman is a golddigger, there is very few isolated cases only when this happens, so don't try pulling this over our eyes, that excuse does not hold up. I had a heart attack from vioxx nad I know the destruction this caused in my life, if I had my heart back and Diana had her arm back we would gladly give them their blood money back.

I still believe Vioxx killed my Aunt, She was fine until they gave her them meds and then she ended up with blood clots and a blood disease from it....

This is the very reason I am reducing my blood pressure med's and have supplemented them with fresh ground garlic, 1 clove a day. The damn garlic works better than the BP med's and doesn't cause the side effects in the rack if you know what I mean.

Thats good stuff that garlic huh X-Vermonter! We know you are dosing on it because you heard what it can do for your sex life! I heard it will kill unborn kittens if you feed your newly pregnated cat enough of it! I wonder what other great things it can do? I just love the taste of it! YUM!

To put it better, if I had continued to take BP med's, they would have eventually caused me to take the little blue pill in order to preform horizontal aerobics. Is that better????

Although, I am wary of drugs, if your doctor has put you on blood pressure medication, I would be sure to do that, because high blood pressure cause heart attack and stroke, you can be walking around with high blood pressure, feeling fine, that's the reason they call it the silent killer, I have a blood pressure monitor and keep check on mine daily, anything can trigger high blood pressure, and taking a bayer aspirin a day won't hurt either. I know if there was 2 things even in my grandmothers medicine cabinet, it was Bayer aspirin, or St Joseph aspirin ,. So no I wouldn't depend on the garlic that much to lower blood pressure, but that's your decision, that's the reason vioxx killed so many people it raised their blood pressure out of sight, or it did mine. You can live a long life with hbp but just keep it under control, but I take 20mg of Quinapril once a day and it keeps it 118/70, and that is good as it gets.

I may be ignorant to a lot of things but this is not one of them.. Last year when I tore up a knee my blood pressure shot to 185,190/100,90 and held there for a few days. Definitely in the stroke range but severe pain and trauma can elevate your BP through the roof and add to that, say Motrin IB or any anti-inflammatory and your into some major hypertension danger zones.
I take my BP twice a day and record it and take into account who pissed me off on topix or at work etc....
BP has held steady around 130/90 with the garlic clove per day which is better than the Accupril which averaged around 137/92... My figures are based on a 30 day period and approved by the Doc.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Scorpio

If you're feeling brave enough, you should get out all your receipts`, and then tot up how much you've spent this month. Or don't you have the courage to do so? It will be far better to know the truth than to pretend that everything's all right. But don't let it spoil what promises to be a delightfully enjoyable and rather emotional day.
