NIU on alert after Virginia Tech shooting reference found on wall

I am a family member of some NIU students. I was watching the media when I heard of the shooting at NIU. I recall that there were a racial slur written on the bathroom wall in the Grant towers which said, "What time? The VA tech shooters messed up w/ having only one shooter ...". There was a shooting today at NIU with one shooter. If the crime commited today is (and maybe) linked to the threatening note given in December than officals should be alerted for more shooters. They made it clear that VA Tech had only one shooter and that's why they "failed". So it might be more than one shooter with this case at NIU.And if so, the shooter had a link to a current student to get in the dorms. I been to NIU before and I know you need a key to get on the residents floors. This could be just the beginning. I have friends and family members at NIU and I want this to be a solved case. I DON'T WANT TO SEE ANYONE ELSE HURT!! GOD Bless the victims and my prayers are out for the victims and their families.

what is the world coming to? why are these things going on? do these things happen in France? India? Japan? kids turning against kids. it makes me sick. personally i think this is what happens when you don't spend enough time nurturing and raising your children. people let media and the internet raise their children nowadays. it's leading us down a dark path.
