In agreeing that there are no private Boro's in Pennsylvania, I am questioning the HOA fees that are being assessed to the Home owners to the tune of $710.00. 1st That amount of monies seems very high for 1 year when you add up all the lots and multiply by $710.00 it seems like a lot of money, especially for people who do not use the facilities year round, do not live there year round or do not have houses there. In the latest news letter the breakdown was given for the monies. However a statement was printed that in the $710.00 also included attorney fees for the Boro Initiative. I for one do not feel TLPOA residents should be charged Attorney's fees to fight for somthing we may not believe in and have no interest in becomming. I believe a fair up/down vote on the proposal should be had. Each lot owner should be given a yes or no vote with only 1 vote per owner. If you own more then 1 lot you still only get 1 vote. That way the community and the TLOPA will get a clear picture of whether people at Treasure Lake want this initiative or not, not an agenda that may be driven by a few.
