When will the youth association utilize the land provide for the costruction of new fields? We have several parents sending their kids to another town to play ball since the association here is not going anywhere. When someone tries to stand up and accelerate the program, the association feels threatened. The president of our association has even payed to participate in a program in Grandview, TX. This is appalling to me, since we should be building things here versus supporting a program built to eliminate recreation ball totally.

Reply: Find out when the terms of the officers expire, go to a meeting, and vote in someone who wants to build the field on the land made available. Last I knew a soccer group was going to construct a fence around the area and have soccer games there. Why didn't that happen? Parents of children need to communicate with each other and work together to build the fields...it will take a lot of manual labor...it won't magically appear.

Why is your CC deciding city business before they get to the posted meeting? Why are you allowing this to happen? Call your attorney general...it is not legal under the TX Open Meetings Law.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Scorpio

A loved one is very assertive under the Full Moon tonight. You'll only make it worse if you come down like a ton of bricks, given that Mars is retrograde and it's a lunar eclipse tonight. Besides, do you really want to spoil this evening's celebrations because you've had a flaming row? If possible, live and let live, so you can have a really happy New Year!
