1 Like JC is the only place you can't find a liquor store or the only place you can see beautiful scenery. Or is the only place with a high concentration of morons, stray dogs, roadside trash, ineffective elected officials, nice neighbors, religious freaks, oblivious drivers,... You know you are in Johnson County when you see the sign that says "Johnson County". You know you are from Johnson County when your birth certificate says "Johnson County". |

1 i disagree. my mother and father were from johnson county. mom went to banner elk hospital and i was born there and two days later i was in johnson county and have been ever sice then. my birth certificate says i was born in north carolina, it does not say i was from north carolina. |
