church protesting military funeral on tuesday

Anybody know anything about this?

Go to youtube and put in shirley phelps roper on fox news and watch. they are coming to MC to protest at the funeral home at 2:00 on tues.

This IS NOT a real church group.. They call themselves Westboro Baptist Church but is no way affiliated with the American Baptist Association. This is a group(mainly family members)that are preaching of a god of hate. The God of the Bible is a God of love,peace and mercy. These people are haters of gay's, soldiers and other's that "THEY" feel are an abomination. A true Christian will love all people. God said to love the sinner but hate the sin..We are all ainner's and we are in no posistion to judge one another. We are to love and forgive as Jesus did. This is not an act of God and it certainly goes against everything that God is and how a true Christian should represent themselves. God Bless You All and I pray that this group of people will not have the chance to hurt the family and friends of Fred Greene and also hinder the innocent people who may not know or understand who God truly is...

Where are these people from and I did not know people who are not from around here even know where Mountain City is. Her message is totally messed up and at someone's funeral is not the place to tell her story.If it were my husband I have to honetly say I might show her sin . Wonder if she would be to good at turning the other check while getting the sh** kicked out of her.

They are from Topeka Kansas and they are going to all the slain soldiers hometown to picket at their funerals. Her message is a bunch of lies. I feel sorry for the children of this family. This is probably all they ever teach them. I know that there are a lot of non believers in Mountain City that hates Christians and hate to hear about God because I have had plenty of run ins with them.I understand why they feel that way when I read about people doing stuff like this and claim that it is God's will. And claiming they are Christians. The God that I serve is not the god that these people are preaching about. I hope that people realize this...

all i can say is, these people come to mtn city and protest they will have never been to a town that will great them the way they will get greeted here . i hate it for them !it takes a sorry bunch to do what this so called westboro baptist church is doing!!i hope they get ran out of there if they show up!!!

They have protested at many funerals, and laws were passed in
several states to keep limits on the protests.
My guess is the police will have to escort them thru town.

They are here now.....lurking in town

A movement is underway to support the family of our fallen soldier Fred Greene by gathering on Main Street tomorrow (Tuesday) near the Courthouse and funeral home at 1:30. It is our hope that so many people show up, we will form a circle of love around the funeral home and down the street for the family of Fred. Please come if you can and show these crazy people that they are NOT welcome here.

I bet its her if I see her I will remember can't forget that evil face she had that day. But know matter what she brings to johnson county. The christians here are some of the most stongest I have seen so satin you better be prepared..

I didnt mention satan or satin,in my post.

If you look at this so called churches website you will see that they are not scheduled to come to Mountain City. For the families sake I hope they don't, for their sake I also hope they don't. They may find out that we may fight amongst each other but when it comes to this I think we will stand as one. God bless Freddies family.
