I think we all agree that if a person can make their way in this society, it is our obligation to work hard and pay their own way. We are not the society we were 50 years ago. A working person should not live below the poverty level just because they work fulltime. Walmart is more of an exampple of what is wrong with our society than what is right about our society. Low, pay, few benefita, and a draconian work environment is not thr America I wish to live. Even those old "greeters" that inspect you at the door are not really there to say hello, they look you over and report to management that you are suspicious and should be watched as you make your way through the store and then they inspect your receipt as you exit the store to make sure you haven't taken anything. They just do not wear a security uniform because that would be obnoxious! Walmart uses senior citizens (who work cheap!) to perform this security function. Butler needs a supercenter like a sharp stick in the eye! Walmart just went into Mexico and tried to bribe officials to force them to put their stores in Mexico and exploit their poor people with cheap plastic crap from China that we really do not need. Korea and Germany kicked their Walmart stores out of their countries because of the unfair business model that only offers low pay, very hard work, and little chance your advancement. Come on, Butler, do not be fooled by that little bouncing smily face that promices lower prices! It is not showing its teeth!
