knowing him personally, I would say it might have had to do with fraud....not sure though.

He came into the Cove VFW and wanted to transfer his life membership from the Kempner VFW to Cove VFW. Seems to Kempner VFW threw his butt out and barred him for a little incident involving slapping around a female bartender.
Luckily, one of the beauties in the way the VFW was organized is that each post gets their membership to vote on applicants.
When this guy's application was presented to the membership so was a copy of the CCPD report and copies of the newspaper articles on his arrest.
He was unanimously turned down.

He is slipping off the deep end. Tough local friends I met years ago though the Army I got to know him, Don. What a turn. As a VFW member I will ensure this information is known at our Post.
