What's the loudest spot in Chittenden County?
Warm weather brings open windows, and open windows bring noise complaints in and around Burlington.

Porters Point Road in Colchester. As soon as the sun comes out, this guy is constantly outside with an array of noisy lawn and power tools. He is clearly avoiding spending time with his children by distracting himself with all of this noisy busy-work.

Ahh.. I know many men like that. They try to find "busy" work so they don't have to spend time with their family. Then they can say well I did this and that today... There is a great message on a church sign in Milton It says : Dads: To be in our childrens memories later, we need to be in their lives now."
So sad that we are still stuck in the frame of thought that parenting is a woman's job. |

I would say mind your business. This is a free country and he has the right to use his tools, which does not mean he isn't spending time with his children. Maybe this is his income, maybe this is what he enjoys, maybe it just doesn't matter because you do what you do, he does what he does! You are CLEARLY being a busy-body. |

I agree with Tammy leave this guy alone. Atleast this guy don't sit on his but on the couch. It is so easy to point fingers at someone you know nothing about. Ever herd that fences make good neighbors. |

My neighbor does the same thing. He takes it one step further. I came home early from work the other day and found him using his tractor to blow his grass and leaves onto my front yard. This is a 2-lane road that separates us, not a driveway. I don't speak to the man, nor have I done anything to make him mad that I know of. The only thing I can think of is that I have called the ASPCA before because he leaves his dog outside all year, and the dog is a short-hair mutt, not a husky or something. The dog also barks 24/7 and we can't have our windows open during the summer. I'm glad to have A/C. But I haven't called the ASPCA for that reason. Other than that, we get along fine. But you're right Tammy, I'll just ignore this and hope that the dog dies. I'm just a busy body. Stupid me.

airport parkway in south burlington is the worst ithink with all the plains and jets flying by itshard enough to deal with the noise but then the traffic going by it hard to get any peaceand quiet but try talking on the phone and actually hearing the person on the other end.

I think the Essex Jct golf course is the loudest - I've seen plaid with stripes, and flourescent green pants almost every day.
