This is an awesome story. Congrats to her and Lewis Mills. One question.

Yesterday, a story about a Hartfird student who turned his life around with the help of a baseball coach was met with hateful and vengeful posts. How come nonne of that is here?

Because yours is the first post, dope. Besides, she's a decent student.

Wow, how insightful.

The point here is we should celebrate the success of every kid, whether they are perfect, or not so perfect students. This child has done a great thing, as did the other child in Hartford. The difference was, I went onto the other story at 7:30 AM and there were already 30 + comments mostly which centered on the kid being a hoodlum and future drug dealer and such. People complain about the conditions at Hartford schools and then do what ever they can to degrade the successes that happen there all the time.

Again, congrats to her but the kids from Hartford did not deserve the hateful comments that were posted because he is not as good a student as this young lady.

No, dumbass, it had nothing to do with the opinion, it had to do with the stupid comment about why nobody had posted comments before they possibly could have. That's dopey, so they got called on it.

Failures, or probable failures, like the below average ball player, seem to draw more comments.
