This is a stunning example of the inequity between police in this state and all other people. No job carries the delicate trust, the ability to literally kill people and ruin their lives, than that of a police officer and our STATE police is allowing a man whose appearance in uniform enough would intimidate most people, who has acted inappropriately towards women more than once, to continue to keep his badge.
Every day police lie, pin things on people, and use their authority to ruin the lives of others. A simple decision to arrest can destroy a career and yet our State's finest, living on six figure incomes, allows a man who would love any civilian or public job based on what he did, to continue to collect his salary and just to 'move elsewhere'.
Are we HIGH? Why can we not see the forest through the trees? I have seen the destruction first hand that police abuse can bring on someone's life and the possibility that we actually have systems in place which leave it unchecked just makes me sick. SICK.
