Burlington a farming community is declining in agriculture

i believe that from what i heard burlington farming practices and fields are slowly disappearing because of drought, shortage of money, and crop value.....is this true???

Yes it is. Ruleton, Goodland, Burlington, basically eastern Colorado and western Kansas. All fallin short in the past 4 years due to drought and after the fuel spike last go round, hard tellin who made it out or if you can even call it that.

Ever stumble across a website were all of these people were talking smack about your hometown and none of them sound like they had ever even been there? The agriculture buisness isn't hiring, but the prison sure is which isn't as bad as it sounds. They have a very low record for violence because the inmates they have are all low medium security sissys and the facility is made almost entirely of reinforced concrete so strong that even if you smuggled in a jack hammer you couldn't break through. The prison is brining in alot of revenue for the town too. You should have seen the place 10 years ago without all the new buildings. I'd say it's at least a 10th larger now then when it was an exclusive farming comunity. As for the drinking, sure that's going on and it was a darn fun time doing it until I found what I wanted to do and gave up going out for homework. The girl below didn't find an eligible guy in Burlington because she looked only in the bars where <like every city in the world> the only thing the guys think of is getting drunk and letting their inhabitions go. She should have tried one of our many churches where the atmospher is the complete opposite. Have a good day everyone.:)
