Joshua teenager accused of attacking mother with baseball bat

In a voice-mail message to a friend Monday night, 17-year-old Conner Troutt calmly explained that he had beaten his mother to death with a baseball bat.

Donna worked with us for a brief time at Denny's in Burleson. We are sorry to hear this shocking news. We are all sending our prayers for her recovery. We are also praying for her son, in hopes that someday he will overcome his troubles, and live a long happy life.
