Tyson to add work to Buffalo from Okla.

Tyson Foods Inc. will shift more work to three of its plants, including one in Buffalo, following the closing of its processed meats plant in Ponca City, Okla.

i work for Tyson in buffalo and i think it is a great thing for us.We have been doing lunch meat products for many years.We are very greatfull for the oppertunities that are coming are way.Sorry for those people who are loosing there jobs. buff team member

im a ponca city team member i think it stinks we made tyson foods what they are and now they dont appreciate it thanks john tyson hope u happy now

Of course it's great for you. Over 300 people losing their jobs in a city that's already had Conoco lay off 700- is devastating. Tyson's can kiss my a**! I'll never eat another Tyson's product if I can help it. I know they sell and distribute crap under other names but, I'm checking into that as well. BTW, this plant has been in operation over ten years under one name or another and helped keep this city going economically. Tyson has slapped a large group of people in the face and we won't forgive them for this!
