He was a good cop. Long drawn out legal fights (criminal / civil) would drain all of his resources to fight.

Having known more than one officer that committed suicide I can only hope that people like "sargent smith", "many questions" as well as others that are compelled to demonstrate such empty souls and stupidity, never have anything so serious happen to people they know. Why he killed himself is something that we will not be able to determine. Except you cynics of course. You think you know everything. BTW I did not know this man, but anyone that commits suicide is a sad thing.

It is sad that the officer took his own life.God grants us a life .And when we die of natural causes the rewards after death are unbelievable ! But when you take and abuse your life and kill yourself, there will be no end to your misery after death! I would like to know the rest of the story concerning the investigation..Also the fools that caused the investigation.I bet they were not productive citizens.God Bless and keep the officers safe as they do their jobs.

burbank, sanfernando valley, torrance police departments i avoid like the plague they constanly harass beat up and undermine any male minority between the ages of 16 and 35 I've seen it time and time again on one ocassion i was stopped with a friend guns drawn for not stoping at the stop sign my friend asked them to put there guns away because we are not armed they proceded to beat him then told us if we complained they'd arrest us for resisting arrest and let us "off with a warning" those police departments can't have it both ways they can't have a culturally diverse enviornmnet without the young males that make up that group.

Well since the Sgt. can't even spell the word correctly we know he is not familiar with being one at any level. Probably both cop haters and have just recently been released from prison after being buttended more than a few times. They blame it on the cops who put them there.

All the criminals, cop haters, and other misfits, will have a field day on this one. It just may turn out he has done nothing wrong; if so, it will probably never be reported.

There is always a rush to judgment in cases like this.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Pisces

You're lacking in energy and resources today, which will soon slow you down and make you feel as though you're wading through treacle. The only way to cope is to have as many breaks as possible, and not to set yourself impossible goals that you could never hope to meet. You're also very susceptible to the criticisms or put-downs of others, but do your best to ignore them.
