And you are.

And, OH BOY, how it shows.

;-)

No more irresponsible spending?
It's only labeled "irresponsible" when the Republicans aren't getting to spend it on the toys and thrills they want.

No more open borders?
Most Republicans are Americans today because they are descended from immigrants that came from all over to the U.S.A. seeking a better life.

Someone has to be the parent?
Republicans can't even put themselves in a timeout.

Embrace the word "no"?
It sure is the party of N-O.
And Mitt got NO approval rating boost coming out of last week's convention.
What's with this cranky attitude emerging from the Republicans anyway?
That might've worked well if it would've been done in 2008 when John McCain was running.
Back then, it seems like the Republicans were copping a joy ride attitude with Sarah Palin in the passenger seat.
Where is she now?
Ditched.
And the party?
Crashed.

So, let's here it for the Republicans ...
No we can't. Backward.
No we can't. Backward.
No we can't. Backward.
While the Democrats are chanting ...
Yes we can. Forward.
Yes we can. Forward.
Yes we can. Forward.

Now, you tell me who has the best chance winning by a landslide?

Obama's first term:
* Osama Bin Laden captured and assasinated.
* Over 4 million jobs created.
* Universal healthcare legislation implemented.

Republicans over the last 4 years:
*?
*?
*?
It's okay.
Take your time.
You can surely think of something.
[And the theme music to the TV game show "Jeopardy" plays]
Times up.
What?
Can't even think of one thing?
Oh yeah ...
NO!
Sorry, NO didn't do anything.

I'm not endorsing either one.
Obama, Romney.
I NEVER voted for Obama/Biden in 2008.

That being said ... may the best man win.
If you think it's Romney, then vote Romney.
If you think it's Obama, then vote Obama.
If you think it's somebody else, vote for that person.
Or write-in a name.
And hope it's the best man or we may be going into another Great Depression.
Or if you're not sure, maybe you shouldn't vote at all.
That's one of the great things about this country.
You are trusted with the right to choose who you want.
And if the one we want doesn't get it, we respect the Office of the Presidency and give him a chance over one term to get things done.
But if he doesn't get things done, we the people have the right to change course.

But just know this ...
No one man president is going to fix what ails America.
The problems we're facing as a nation are way too big for any ONE party to solve.
This is going to take an effort on us all to come together as ONE people -- WE THE PEOPLE -- and put this ship back on course.

God Bless America.

Well. I don't think that we could realistically close them off completely.

Unless we would be willing to accept the consequences.
We'd be the hermit nation -- paranoid, shutting ourselves in behind closed doors, and quarantining ourselves.
Plus, unless we wanted to be labeled as a HYPOCRITE country, we'd have to stop interfering in the affairs of other countries.
And that's a habit I'm not sure the politicians are willing to kick.

And if the country would've had the attitude of no open borders during the 1700s, 1800s, and 1900s, then America would look completely different than it does right now.
For we are a nation of various peoples, colors, and ethnicities.
We are a melting pot.

The same party, the Republican Party, that campaigns on closed borders between the United States and Mexico is also the same party that wants international business through exports and imports, the same party that internationally outsourced OUR jobs, and is the same party that relentlessly engages in international warfare.

And why JUST Mexico?
Why do they ONLY want to shut out the Mexicans?
Why NOT Canada too?
That seems very telling.
Racism?
Prejudice?
They say all the Mexicans want to vote Democrat.
I guess if they felt that they wanted to vote Republican, there would be a push to build a great highway between the 2 countries.

Behind closed doors, the politicians are supposedly laying out the groundwork to map the United States, Canada, and Mexico into one united country.
And who knows?
That might turn out to be a good thing.
And we have no other choice but to sit back like sheep and watch it all happen as we get the wool pulled over eyes when our government MAKES decisions for US.
I can't SEE Americans rising up and revolting, like they did in the Revolutionary War, over the border issue.
And the Declaration of Independece does state that sometimes it is necessary for a people to rise up and forcefully change the government.

Of course, the illegal immigrants coming here only to take advantage of the system and ruin it for everyone else MUST be dealt with.
Texas Joe, they should be rounded up and headed off at the pass, so to speak.
And branded with a big "NO".

But there are foreigners who are legitimately still coming to our great country to seek a better life and those people should be more than willing to sign-up and be a citizen so that they can be truly proud to be an American.
But the registration process shouldn't be so difficult that even a natural born citizen couldn't pass it.

And how could we ever forget or get her image out of our mind as a people? That beautiful lady. The Statue Of Liberty that stands at freedom's door right at the edge of the United States with the following sweet talk:

"Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

And she isn't just whispering sweet nothings there.
That is an earful.
And we should be paying attention.
And not let it just go in one ear and out the other.

And if it's a Republican President.
Or if it's a Democrat President.
Or if it's an Independent President.
WHOEVER is the one that truly cares about his country and wants to help the people, that is the ONE for ME.

But like I said before.
No ONE president is going to fix this mess.
It's too far gone.
They MUST come together.
All the Parties.
For the good of the people.
All for one and one for all.
Then after it's fixed they can go back to who can spit the farthest.
Come together right now over lady liberty.
There is no OTHER way to DO IT.

We ... can ... do ... it!!!!!

Get 'er done.

God Bless America ... again.

Aliens?
You are talking about illegal immigrants, right?
Not space aliens?
;-)

1.5 million per year?
That averages out about to 6 million over a four year period for a possible Barack Obama 2nd term.
6,000,000 new jobs created in just 4 years.
Add that to the already created 4,000,000 jobs and we get a whopping 10,000,000 created in the BHO Presidency.
Because the hard working "illegal", meaning non-registered, immigrants are willing to do the jobs that Americans won't so.
And what are some of the jobs that Americans just won't do?
Well, govern of course!
That's why we are in the political mess we are in right now.
Enforce the existing laws.
The Executive branch needs to execute.
The Legislative branch needs to legislate.
The The Judicial branch needs to ajudicate.
Stop outsourcing OUR jobs to other countries.
Yes, lend a helping hand to other lands when we can but don't let our country fall apart while doing so or the helping hand will be reaching out for help.

So, you are calling for a annual quota?
A certain amount allowed in each year.
This sounds feasible.
A screening process.
Only let the ones in that will meet a certain standard.
And what should that standard be?
Citizenship.
And a promise of guaranteed employment.
Of course that will be very controversial in the eyes of many.
They will argue that the U.S. government is engaged in rounding up people like cattle.
They'll even make comparisons to when the U.S. gathered up Asians in the U.S.A. and put them in internment camps when Japan attacked Pearl Harbor.
And people will argue that some are more deserving to get in than the others being allowed in.

The only problem in all of this is what are we going to do with ALL the LEGAL U.S. citiziens that are already taking advantage of the system and ruining it for everyone?
WELFARE FRAUD. Those who really don't need welfare but manage to work hard in finding creative ways to get welfare benefits like 'food stamps' anyway.
DISABILITY FRAUD. Those who really do not have any physical malfunction that would prevent them from working but somehow fake it and get a monthly government check.
EDUCATION FRAUD. Rich students who could pay their own way through college but get earned scholarships, thereby preventing the poor from being awarded them because there is only so many scholarships to go around.
AND WHATEVER ELSE people are engaging in to 'milk' the system for all it's worth.
Seems to me that there's more right now to worry about with the LEGALS than the handfuls of ILLEGALS.

Maybe we should exchange the LEGALS who are making a mockery of citizenship for ILLEGALS who are willing to become good citizens. A good business trade in 'exports' and 'imports'. INSOURCE the jobs.

One thing is sure in all of this.
It's just as Abraham Lincoln said.
You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.
And a popular variation on it.
You can please all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot please all the people all the time.
Why?
I guess because some people aren't really looking for solutions but just divisions.
They just want something to whine about.
Or if involves them having to actually do something themselves to make the world a better place, then they look the other way.
It's like Michael Jackson's song "Man In The Mirror".
The lyric, "I'm talking to the man in the mirror. I'm asking him to change his ways."

Of course, the ONE sure way to fix illegal immigration and the open borders issue is to have NO borders.
Maybe it's time to UNITE the world into the ONE globe that it already is.
And ACCEPT that we are all ONE people living on ONE planet.
That seems to be the only REAL solution with lasting results.

But then again the 2012 Mayan doomsday thing may fix the border problems.
