Bill Maher, ladies and gentlemen!!
Gottal love this guy. I do. I love his comedy-his forte.
Clever, dynamic quips, deadpan delivery, prolific sense of comedic timing. What's not to love about this guy?!!
Stick to what you're good at, Bill Maher.
Because you're now a soulless, plattitude parrot mouthpiece of the Liberal Media - exuberantly cheerleading for a morally-neautral, Socialist society.
You go on these eviscerating witch hunts against Republicans, stereotyping them with ad-hominem schtick, and employing Hard-Left, Establishment Media headlines, without them ever having survived the scrutiny of fact-checks and authentication by respectible entities. Let a story percolate a few days before you accept it as the gospel.
You are a true student of a narrow range of Socio-Political ideologies, and it shows you've done your homework. But as Chris Matthews has just pointed out, give a viewing to the other side for a change - make sure they're as rediculous as you assume them to be. You might accidently find them making sense. But you, no. You and your ilk are infinitely smarter than the Republicans (Who 2/3 of America identify as)
You paint them with stereotypical broad, messy strokes , as if your political allies are somehow too intellectually evolved and exempt from the moral weaknesses and proclivities of Human Nature that each of us is born with. Your Democrat stablemates- no way, jose!!
And your slick and polished execution of this material has your partisan, militanly-atheist audience brethren beside themselves with extasy, even the time in your "New Rules"(episode 242) when you discourage the silencing of Right-Wing pundits. But that tactic is central to the Hard-Left's battle plan!! What were you thinking, Bill Maher. Faux pas?
Keep up the good work, Bill Maher, your comedy is priceless, hilarious.
But don't masquerade your irreverent, hilarious and eccentric opinions and world-view as healthy, legitimate, and vialble options for a functioning society.
It takes more than a comedic punchline to browbeat America into relinquishing a need for a moral compass and faith-based reflecting on the issues.
