Again, another $600 fine, if they catch you.

Claudia, why not have council deem you Poop Patrol Person, a PPP.

Of course you can have Tom as your sidekick as Master Maker of the Sign Lord.

I like this comment:

"There are signs that say,'Don't feed the ducks,' down at the aquatorium. But, when I go down there, I see loaves of bread laying on the ground by the signs. I don't know if signs work," Williams said.

Claudia, have the Sign Lord install a sign at the aquatorium that says:'These signs don't work'

Would that help you?

"We may have to look at putting up a sign at the park as well," said Caudill.

Claudia Williams said she hopes to get cameras installed in the park and that may take care of the problem of irresponsible pet owners.

Claudia, how will you identify the person?
Names tags maybe, fingerprint identifiers when entering the park, or a Poop Police Person?

Now, what if a stray dog enters the park and poops?

I know, put up a sign that says no stray dogs are allowed in the park at -ANYTIME-. That will do it.

Williams added that she is getting increasingly frustrated with how city youths are ruining the playground areas. She said council has worked hard to update the facilities in some of the play areas, yet she has to approve high costs for cleaning up and fixing broken items from abuse and misuse.

She added that it's not children from outside the community coming in and ruining the areas. Rather it is "our children," she said.

Why don't you just say 'it's the skater kids'?
Didn't they come to a council meeting and ask the city to provide an area suitable for skateboarders?
And didn't council say something about 'looking into it?' What, did you think the kids were going to just go away because the 'adults' gave them a bullshit answer?

And while I'm asking, why do those stupid yellow footprints lead down to the railroad crossing that isn't there anymore? Are you trying to lead people into the path of a train?

And Claudia, when you are taking your walk along the hill at the aquatorium, why do you walk past the trash that is lying there, you won't stoop that low? I've seen others stop and pick up the trash that was left by others, you too good?

I do have to thank someone for getting the guy, who was living in his car, out of the aquatorium parking lot. I'll bet it was really annoying for him to wake up at 9 o'clock in the morning because of the noise from others using the park.

New sign at the aquatorium,'NO DUCKS ALLOWED --$600 FINE'

Maybe the bread was there for the Geese?
Why I'll have a gander at them.

What about the Gulls? Can we feed them?
Maybe have a Tern feed them too?

Whay are they so bad and who do you think wants a thankless job that the public only criticizes. Monongahela is the best town in the valley and by all accounts is getting better. What do you want them to do? Who do you want to run to replace them that are that much better? I would like to know and don't say anybody. If you have some overqualified people interested then by all means lets vote them in. I think you need to be specific on what you want them to do as well. Maybe if you have some good ideas they will use them!

BG I agree with most of what you said. But, Monongahela is NOT the best town in the valley. Look at statistics.

BG, if someone with a good plan would present it, I would vote for the in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, most people don't really care about the local city officials. If they did, absolutely know way the group that is in there now would still be in office.

If we actually got some younger, smarter, more energetic people in there, this town would take off like wild fire and be a great little tourist attraction. It would take a few years after the transition, but it would definitely happen with the right people.

The Council and Mayor for Mon City has taken so much heat over the past year on this forum and some of it was deserved but no one is saying nice job since they will be lowering taxes......

If you look at the debt the city was in 3-4 yrs ago and now its doing ok to be able to reduce taxes for property owners...If you're going to point the finger when they screw up, you have to be able to give credit when something is done right.....And they must be doing something right if they are in the position to lower taxes...

They have to lower taxes because of a court order, dont let that asshole caudil fool you. He would lead you to believe breathing oxygen was his idea. And as far as the city doing better, try counting the number of business that have left in the past two years. The drug busts have been wonderful (thanks to toprani), but the city is still in bad shape and stagnant. We need smart people with a game plan in office.

I didn't vote for her; I think she only care about herself; she was to beautify this town; not make it better.

This is a fantastic day for doing some forward planning because you're able to combine practicality with a strong need for enjoyment. This means you'll arrange things so they run smoothly but are good fun at the same time. It's also a good opportunity to make contact with any friends that you haven't seen or heard from recently, just to check that they're okay.
