It's terrible anytime some dies! But let's look at the facts! The guy was full as a tick on cocain! He had already broke the law and was in police custody! He was not responding to any verbal commands given by officers! He was bucking the officers and trying to get physical! He was tazed in order to get compliance from him just the same that has happened to many other offenders that wish to fight with the police! The Coroner stated the cause of death! All the investigations that were done found no fault on the officers ! Just curious who his attorney is? Do you think he believes he can sue his son back to life? Tazer has never lost a lawsuit in any case where it was stated that the tazer ever caused a death! They have their lawyers all over this one! I personally think someone is looking for a payday!!!

This family has " cast a large net" by naming everyone and his brother as defendants in this lawsuit. I guess they are hoping for a large pay off!

It would save lots of tax payers money if we could shoot all criminals or have them put to death, we wouldn't have to worry bout inmates no more

Offer to pay the funeral costs and let it go. There are countless taser suits that have been lost. The only winners are the bloodsucking attorneys.

The plaintiff knows he has no case. He's suing because each entity will have to hire an attorney to represent them. There will be tens of thousands in defense attorney fees. Collectively, the insurers will probably agree to settle for ten thousand or so just to avoid legal expenses. It isn't costing the plaintiff a nickel and his attorney is guaranteed at least a third of whatever they settle for.

Each defendant needs to counter sue the worthless father. His son meant jack-squat to him until he was dead and a potential source of a quick dollar.
